Hingeworthy privacy

Short version: Hingeworthy doesn't collect any data. Your fold counts stay on your phone, and nothing is sent to me or anyone else.

What the app stores

Hingeworthy saves your fold counts, history, settings and the last hinge reading on your device, in storage shared only between the app and its widgets. There's no account, and the app doesn't connect to the internet.

Shortcuts

If you set up the Shortcuts automations, iOS runs Hingeworthy's actions on your phone each time you open or close it. Those actions only update the counts saved on your device.

Analytics, ads and tracking

Hingeworthy has no analytics, no ads and no tracking. If you've chosen to share crash reports with developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may send me anonymous crash reports. Apple controls that, not Hingeworthy.

Exporting and deleting

You can export your history as a CSV file from Settings. It's only shared where you choose to send it. To delete everything, use Settings › Reset all stats, or delete the app.

Children

Hingeworthy collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
